Die Kraaltjie is situated adjacent to the R62 between Port Elizabeth and George in the beautiful Langkloof, just one kilometre outside Joubertina.

The Langkloof is famous for producing fruit such as apples, pears, peaches, plums apricots and more recently, blueberries.

However, we don’t only farm fruit. We have cattle, sheep and a quail farm. We pickle quail’s eggs which are sold to farm stalls and a well-known chain group. The farm also boasts a quail abattoir. Furthermore, we own a beekeeping operation for cross pollination.

Workers cottages on the farm have been converted to self-catering units with 60 beds altogether.

Die Kraaltjie has its own restaurant for overnight guests and day visitors which serves meals during the day. An old apple pack store has been converted into a hall where weddings, birthdays and conferences can be hosted. We provide a full service for functions – everything from flowers to food. The restaurant has a play park to provide entertainment for children while parents relax on the stoep.

Other features of Die Kraaltjie include a large collection of exotic birds and a walking trail through a camp with blesbok.

An additional facility is a small caravan park with power points.
